Father of 2, Julius Agwu Opens up on his Terrifying Brain Tumour Experience
2015 and 2016 was a tough period for the Agwu family when they discovered that the veteran comedian, Julius Agwu had three in his brain with one of them the size of a golf ball and had to undergo a brain surgery abroad to remove the tumour (read here).
Luckily for him, the 43-year-old father of two, had a successful surgery, with the help of qualified doctors at the Park Plaza Hospital, Houston, America, and the support of his family, especially his wife, Ibiere.
In a new interview with Inspaya TV, Agwu, for the first time recounted in full detail what he went through during his terrifying moment with brain tumour.

His wife and his older sister, Theresa Agwu, also shared that the incident got so bad to a point where he stopped moving and was almost taken to the mortuary.
”So now I am going to be a widow, how do I manage with these children?” Ibiere said.
In the very emotional interview, Agwu revealed he almost committed suicide and was already trying to put things in place for his wife in the worst case scenario of his death.
”I started looking for my property documents to give to my wife. One day when they were not home, I almost committed suicide,” Julius stated in the interview.

He also revealed how he began to suffer memory loss and several seizures shortly after shooting the TV series ‘The Vendor’.
”All I remember was I woke up in the hospital and heard the story of my being in coma. I lost my memory,” he said.
It was really a very tough time for the family!
