Mother Arrested for Injecting Heroin as 4-Year-Old Son Watched

An irresponsible mother has been arrested after video showing her allegedly taking heroin emerged.

Lauren Story, 29, appeared in court accused of child endangerment, possessing drug paraphernalia, among other charges. The video showed her appearing to inject herself with heroin in a Cincinnati alleyway. The mum is shown to hand the young boy a phone to play with before she and another male used the drugs.

John Donaldson, of Grant Park Block Watch, a neighborhood watch scheme filmed this incident. He told WKRC:

” I saw the little boy sitting there against the wall behaving himself while the adults were preparing to shoot up.

The video ends with Story telling her son to get up and follow her.

She was later recognised at a bus stop when an officer recognised her and syringes were found on her. Her son was unkempt and hungry but in good health according to IBTimes.

Morgan Story, her sister told WCPO:

“I just want them to get help and realize she is better than that.

There is help.”

Lauren denies all charges against her after appearing at Hamilton County Municipal Court. According to court documents, Story has previously been charged with other offences including drink driving.

A mother is the first role model of her child. A mother should always act responsible around her kids because these kids are watching.
