‘Secondhand Wife’: Nigerian Man Insults Wife for Giving Birth Via C-Section
A Facebook user, Oluwayemisi Oyeneye Okunowo, shared a story of her friend’s husband who has been angry with her for having their first child via C-section and not vaginally.

According to her, the man said the scar she has through Caesarean section makes her a second wife, which in turn has made the first mum depressed.
Sharing the story online, Okunowo is now asking what advice people have for her friend who asked her to post to.

I gave birth via c/s due to a lil problem I had during pregnancy and since then my husband has shown me much love bcos he was in the theatre with me and witnessed all the procedure. We had a problem sometime ago and I sent him our son,s picture with the caption “daddy pls forgive mummy”. His response gave me goose bumps……….he replied * my dearest boy,ave forgiven mummy just bcos of the pains she went through in bringing u into my arms and I will forever cherish her for that”. So my dear poster tell ur friend to concentrate on the baby and her wound for now. Her husband is just a torn in the flesh
