Omonigho Abraham, Little Boy Attacked By Dogs 3 Years Ago, Looks Great In New Pics!
We have good news for you this morning, but first, let’s go through the timeline of events to jog your memory.
Please be aware that there are graphic pictures in this story.
In September of 2014, a little boy called Omonigho Abraham, aged 4 at the time, was viciously attacked by two dogs with so much ferocity that he had his skull exposed (read here). It was a story that moved Nigerians the world over.
The attack was so bad that even the seven police men at the scene could do nothing, but watch as the dogs chewed on little Omonigho, until his mother came and physically fought off one of the dogs to rescue her little son.
This was the harrowing account the immediate elder brother of the victim, seven-year-old Osemudiamen gave when the incident happened:

“We were riding a bicycle in the compound when the big dogs ─ Jack and Gadaffi ─ started barking at us. Later, they moved towards us.
My elder brother and I quickly ran upstairs and locked the door while Omo (Omonigho), who could not run fast, was left behind.
When he got to the door, he knocked that we should open for him and as we did, one of the dogs forced his way into the house with him. We all ran out.
Bobby jumped down from upstairs and I also jumped. But Omo could not jump, so the dog attacked him.
The other dog also joined in the attack and there was nothing we could do.”
He was treated at LASUTH but his admission at the hospital was marred with claims of abandonment and at a point, the victim’s father, Mr. Odia, said his son’s condition had worsened due to negligence.
Omonigho was subsequently withdrawn from the state’s medical facility and flown to India for further treatment.
Odia, his father said that the Delta State Government and a non-governmental organisation in Abuja, Global Initiative for Peace, Love and Care, GIPLC, teamed up to make the travel possible.

And on December 30, 2014, little Omonigho had a successful operation in India and began the long road to recovery.
We have good news! Omonigho has fully recovered and there are pictures to prove it.
Omonigho’s mother, Helen Edet Udo posted an update on his condition and we are sure this would make your day! See what she posted:
“Who said there is no God, Indeed there is God, for he said I will have mercy on whom I will have on and he had mercy on me.
On 25th of September 2014 my son was beaten by two Rottweiler, and everyone thought the boy would not live, but that was when God took charge and gave that boy life in abundance.
