Tiwa Savage Makes BBC’s List of 100 Most Inspirational & Innovative Women… See Her Reaction
Congratulations to Tiwa Savage as she bags international recognition.
The stunning Nigerian singer and mum Tiwa Savage has been recognized by the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) and selected as part of 100 women across the globe for their inspirational and innovative activities in their respective fields.
Tiwa is one of eight African women recognized for their works including Liberian president, Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, President of Chile, Michelle Bachelet and other women who have made their marks in the world.

Other countries that made the global list include Kenya, Morocco, Senegal and Zimbabwe.
In reaction to the news, the 37-year-old songwriter took to her Instagram account to express her joy.
She also shared some touching words to encourage others.
”OMG OMG OMG this is incredible… BBC unveiled their list of 100 inspirational and innovative women of 2017 and I made the list ????????????????????????
The list includes NASA astronaut Peggy Whitson and President Michelle Bachelet of Chile.
It’s true when they say your brightest moments usually comes after your darkest times. Keep your head up and work hard through it. The same people laughing at you will celebrate you.”
She continued:
”Don’t let being a woman hinder you, I have and still have to fight to get people to respect and appreciate my work and not limit me because I am female so this really encourages me to keep pushing and breaking boundaries.
Put God first, enjoy your life, love, be a good human and do what makes you happy.

This year’s theme will focus on tackling some of the biggest problems facing women around the world, according to reports.
The women who made the list will be part of the 100 Women Challenge, split into four teams- sharing their experiences and creating innovative ways to tackle topical issues such as: The glass ceiling, Female illiteracy, Street harassment and Sexism in sport.
