Three Years After Her Divorce, Fathia Balogun Finally Moves On

Vibrant and talented Yoruba actress Fathia Balogun has finally removed the surname of her ex-husband, fellow popular actor Saidi Balogun from her Instagram page.

The former couple with their good looks and talents, use to be one of Nollywood’s favorite couples until they separated in 2006 over allegations of infidelity from both Saidi and Fathia.

Even though the celebrity couple divorced three years ago, 48-year-old Fathia didn’t drop the name especially since it was part of her success brand in the movie industry.

Fathia is finally ready to close that page. Not only did the actress remove the Balogun from her name, she also deleted all posts on her Instagram page as she begins a new life with her father’s name Williams.

During the time of their divorce, Saidi claimed that only two of Fathia’s children were his and he never asked her to drop his other initial which she dropped yesterday, 2nd of November.

The actress was said to have been in a previous marriage before meeting Saidi and the speculated 3rd child the pair lived with was allegedly from Fathia’s old marriage.
