NTA Broadcaster, Cyril Stober, Weds Elizabeth Banu, a Fellow Broadcaster
Veteran Nigerian broadcaster, Cyril Stober, who retired from the Nigerian Television Authority in 2015, decided to take his relationship to the next level by tying the nuptial knots with a fellow broadcaster with the NTA, Elizabeth Banu, over the weekend.
The NTA reported that the couple had their traditional wedding in Banu’s hometown in Garkida, Adamawa State. Banu, a newscaster with the state-run broadcaster, is also a news producer.
The two broadcasters are famed for casting the Network News and anchoring the programme, Tuesday Live which also airs on the NTA network.
At the occasion, many colleagues, NTA staff, friends and family members were present to felicitate with the couple, according to the NTA.
The NTA has since deleted its report of the event from its website after Twitter users ridiculed the poor tone, grammar and syntax of the story on Sunday morning.
