Love Story of Homeless Couple, Llewellyn and Cecilia As They Wed Under The Bridge Is Worth Mentioning
We love us some beautiful love story! Llewellyn Jeneker and Cecilia Absolom have many hearts melting on social media for their kind of wedding. According to sources, Llewellyn and Cecilia are homeless lovers who have been together on the street for over 30 years.
After the groom approached some officials from retreat, they helped in holding a fairytale wedding conducted by Pastor Manuel Benans, under a city freeway bridge on the Foreshore on Monday, August 20.
The special nuptial was attended by over a 100 guests- mostly the homeless who were treated to Lekker music and a feast of refreshments. They had all joined in celebrating with Cecilia who dazzled in her wedding dress and her man, Jeneker, who totally adored his bride.
There was much love and laughter at the wedding ceremony and while the groom couldn’t take his eyes off his bride, he revealed that he seemed like a new person being wedded to the love of his life.

“What happened today is that I feel almost like a new person, because I have this long-time girlfriend with whom I had walked all these years, and today I legally wed her.”
The newly wed who had lost the elder of their 2 children, has their 2nd son- 12-year Dylan Absolom present to celebrate with them as they finally made their relationship official.
The bride, Cecelia revealed that she was raised on the streets by her mom who had spent a large part of her adult life as a homeless person. The couple is now working towards building a new life for themselves and their son.

The wedding was possible, thanks to the city council and a woman called Jill Jeftha, who donated the bride’s dress. The bride had remarked that the dress stole her heart.
Footage from their wedding shows the couple saying their vows and sharing a loving kiss after which they had their first dance as a live band belted out “Save the Last Dance to Me”.
