Amazon CEO, Jeff Bezos And Wife, MacKenzie Are Getting A Divorce After 25 Years Together
2018 World’s Richest Man, and Amazon CEO, Jeff Bezos 54, has announced that he and his American novelist wife, MacKenzie are getting a divorce after 25-years of marriage.
The dad-of-4 made this announcement via his Twitter page. He said he and his wife had been through a trial separation and have now decided to end their 25-years marriage.
Bezos said the divorce is amicable and they are grateful for the years they were married to each other saying they will remain a family and stay as “cherished friends”.
Jeff Bezos is the richest man in the world. He and McKenzie own a total of 400,000 acres of property, making them 2 of the biggest landholders in their country.
The couple who is blessed with four children, got married in 1993 long before Bezos became rich and famous. Bezos would later became a millionaire in 1997. While married, they lived in Washington, -a community property state which translates to the fact that any assets accrued to them while they were a married couple would be equally shared between them unless there’s a prenup.
Amazon, now the most valuable company on the planet is worth nearly $810 BILLION!
