A Nigerian woman, Amaka Anku was flabbergasted after security officers at the Central Bank of Nigeria building in Abuja, denied her of entry into the building because her dress wasn’t below her knee.
Taking to Twitter, the woman narrated her ordeal and what it took before she was eventually allowed in.

“Just got stopped from entering Nigeria’s central bank in Abuja because my dress is not below my knee. Is that a thing? “
“Update: my contact, a Director, had to call the head of the security team to let me in. He said he had never heard of such a rule. Meanwhile, the person who stopped me was a lady, prolly just wanted to embarrass me – fascinating how women perpetuate patriarchal systems.”
