Chris Brown Files Defamation Lawsuit Against Woman Who Accused Him Of Rape
Chris Brown has filed a defamation lawsuit against the woman who recently accused him of rape in Paris. (Read Here)
In documents filed on Thursday, the dad-of-1 accused the woman of “false accusation, committed on January 18, 2019 in Paris…and not prescribed, provided for and punished” by the French Penal Code.
Brown, 29, was released from custody without charge on Wednesday -two days after being accused of potential aggravated rape and drug infractions. Though he’s been released from custody but contrary to the initial news, it’s been confirmed that investigation into the incident by the Paris police continues.

Recall that in a strongly worded Instagram post which has since been deleted, Brown rejected the accusation saying it was damaging to both himself and his 5-year old daughter, Royalty.
Brown’s attorney, Raphael Chiche was reported to have also stated:
“Chris Brown is free. No lawsuits were filed against him. He vigorously challenges the charges against him. A complaint for slanderous denunciation will be filed with the Public Prosecutor of Paris. The charges against Chris Brown have not been dropped and investigations are still going on but Chris Brown has not been sued by Prosecution.”
Brown was seen on Wednesday, for the first time since his release, leaving his hotel dressed in a Nike hat and plaid coat.
