To a mother, no matter the height or status of a child in the society, in the eyes of his/her mother, he/she would always be their ‘little’ baby.
A conversation between former FLOTUS, Michelle LaVaughn Robinson Obama, 55 and her mother, Marian Shields Robinson, 81, as shared by the later gives much credence to the above submission.
Former U.S. first lady Michelle Obama had made a surprise appearance during the opening address at the 61st Grammy Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday, and the much loved mom-of-2 was received with a standing ovation from the star-studded crowd.

Taking to her Instagram page, Michelle shared a funny conversation that ensued between her mom and her. In the conversation, Marian Robinson had asked her daughter if she met the real stars at the event. It can be deduced that as far as the 81-year old mom-of-2 was concerned, Michelle is still Michelle to her and not a ‘real star’.
Sharing screen shots of their conversation, Michelle wrote:
“When your mom doesn’t think you’re a “real” celebrity…Tonight in Phoenix, I shared this text thread from my mom from #Grammys night, and I just had to share it with all of you. #TextsFromMom????”
