On Nigeria & Elections: Mom-Of-2, Georgina Onuoha Slams CNN For This
This is known all over the world to be electioneering period in Nigeria. As a result, citizens trooped out en-masse to exercise their civic duties casting their votes for their preferred aspirants in the presidential, senate and house of representative elections.
However, the exercise did not go without a high level attendant of violence in some parts of the country, and this resulted to loss of lives and properties in those areas.

To this end, Nigerian actress, and social activist, Georgina Onuoha has called out American news-based pay television channel, Cable News Network (CNN) saying its biased in its news coverage. The mom-of-2 questioned why the media house known to always be abreast of situations world over, would look the other way while innocent Nigerian citizens who went about exercising their civic duties were being gunned down. She opined that CNN’s action towards Nigeria is morally wrong.
