Illinois Woman, Shelby Marlow’s One Year Feat Shows You Can Do Whatever You Put Your Mind To
Life is froth with challenges of all kinds but a person who is determined can get ahead of them just by trying as often as they can. A heartbreak has to be one of the most difficult things for many people to handle but one woman, Shelby Marlon handled hers rather efficiently after she got engaged, planned a wedding, got married, went on honeymoon, remodeled their home, got divorced, moved back with her parents, got a good paying job and is two classes away from completing her degree, all in just one year!

While many women suck it all up and carry on with their marriage or relationship when their partners cheat on them, not every woman is able to look past same.
Clearly, Shelby is in the category of women who do not excuse a cheating partner and her divorce was necessitated after she caught her newly wedded husband cheating on her.
She moved out of their shared home, first to her parents, before she got a place of her own, then found a great job and picked up her degree programme which she had earlier abandoned to face marriage.
Now Marlow says she is two classes away from completing her degree and is looking at the past one year of her life as a true mark of strength and self worth.
Below is what Shelby wrote on her Twitter handle:
“today is the 1yr anniversary of when I got engaged. since then I have planned a wedding, got married, went on my honeymoon, competed in my 1st PL meet, remodeled a house, found out he was cheating, got divorced, moved back w parents, got a bomb ass job, and moved out on my own
I also had to drop out of classes when I moved because I lived an hour away. This week I signed back up and found out I only need 2 more classes to finish out my degree. This bitch is FINALLY getting her shit together
the incredibly corny moral to this story is; life happens and sometimes it really fucking sucks but you have to keep pushing yourself to do and be better, even when it seems like everything has fallen apart. There is something positive in every day & it’s up to you to find it.
to all the girls quoting my tweet with supportive uplifting things; I love you ALL. Girl who look out for other girls deserve the world and more”.
