On Full Custody Of Their Son: Tonto Dikeh’s Ex-Husband, Olakunle Churchill Issues A Disclaimer Saying…
Olakunle Churchill, the ex-husband of Nigerian actress, Tonto Charity Dikeh has termed the publication of a judgement by a customary court in Abuja granting her the full custody of their son, King Andre on March 3, 2019; as false. He made this submission through a notice of disclaimer issued by his legal team, stating that there was no such judgment by any customary court.
The disclaimer says:
“Our attention has been drawn to the false news making the rounds in the social media 4 (four) days ago, to the effect that a customary Court in Abuja has ‘finally’ granted Miss Tonto Dikeh full custody rights over our client’s son, King Andre Churchill.”
“The said false news, which emanated from one ‘Cutie Juls’ (a blogger who is being sponsored by Miss. Tonto Dikeh), further defamed the person of our client by calling him all sorts of names and accusing him of not meeting up with his responsibilities as a father.”
Senior Associate and head of the the legal team reiterated that the only standing judgement on the custody of their son was the judgement filed at the instance of Dikeh on the *October 11, 2017; as suit no. FCT/CC/DU/CV/176/2017*.
The disclaimer also made reference to what King Andre’s last name should be:
“The court also gave an order that all documents relating to our client’s son should bear the surname of the our client as of right and that our Client son’s international passport should be deposited in a bank and shall not be released except with the written consent of each of the parties.”
Churchill’s attorney has challenged Dikeh to name the court that gave the alleged judgement and publish the suit number of the case file, if actually the story is verifiable and substantial. He also condemned her disobedience in regards to the court judgement of January 31, 2018; which gave him unconditional access to their son.
He advised the mom-of-1 to desist from sponsoring fake news and blackmails on his client saying, she should return to work and stop distracting his client from his business, good works and philanthropic gestures to people.
He concluded by counseling the actress to approach the law courts if she has anything against his client rather than resorting to cheap blackmail via social media platforms.
