Newly-Elected Governor Of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu Publicly Acknowledges Wife’s Role In His Victory

It looks like we’ve got a ‘Barack & Michelle Obama’ PDA lifestyle on our hands. The newly-elected governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, 53, is surely the man to beat when it comes to knowing the right words to say to one’s woman.

The dad-of-4 who clinched the ‘prize’ under the ruling party, never shies away from publicly eulogizing his medical practitioner wife, Dr. Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu.

In celebration of his victory over the weekend, the thoroughly all-rounded politician took to his Facebook page to proof his expertise at PDA once again.

In his short but direct post, the graduate of many institutions such as, the University of Lagos, London Business School, Lagos Business School and the John F. Kennedy School of Government, acknowledged his wife for being his pillar of support and for believing in him.  He also thanked her for agreeing to support his aspirations saying: “… you had to make personal sacrifices.”

The dad-of-4 did not forget to thank their children, too. He appreciated their encouragement and declared his love for them.

Sharing beautiful photos of himself and his wife amongst their well-wishers, Sanwo-Olu wrote:
