Tanzanian Billionaire, Reginald Mengi, Dies At 75, Leaves A Whopping Fortune To His 39-Year-Old Widow
Reginald Mengi, one of Tanzania’s wealthiest and most storied businessmen, has died at the age of 75, leaving behind huge fortune to his 39-year-old wife and former Miss Tanzania, Jacqueline.
Tanzanian media and executives at his family office confirmed the report on Thursday morning that Mengi passed on in the early hours in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

According to reports, the late businessman, whom no mention of him having any children was made, reportedly, left a whopping $560m fortune to Jacqueline.
Tanzania’s President John Magufuli, also sent a condolence message via his Twitter page early on Thursday, mourning the death of the septuagenarian, in Tanzania’s local language translated below.
He acknowledged the excellence of the late billionaire to the development of his country as well as his inspiring book titled, I Can, I Must, I Will.

“I am shocked at the death of an elder and a friend Dr. Reginald Mengi. I will remember him for his immense contribution to the development of our country and for the words he wrote in his book (titled) I Can, I Must, I Will. Sorry to members of his family, IPP workers and the entire business community,”
