Sonia’s marriage to her Nollywood actor hubby has been rumoured to be in trouble, but more importantly, the Columbian beauty has become a distinct voice in the advocacy for fair treatment of women.

In her Instagram post, Sonia faulted the cliche phrase, ‘A man will always be a man’. She says it is not only untrue but that it excuses bad behaviour.

She called on other mums to see to it that they do not raise sons who are slaves to tradition, but raise them with love and sustainable values, as she is doing with her own son.
