In a recent Instagram post, the mom-of-three and fitness enthusiast who has been an inspirational coach to women around the globe on achieving healthier lifestyles through exercise, nutrition and lifestyle, shared some tips on how people can cope with depression if they are already in it or find themselves in it eventually.

Today I want to dedicate this post to anyone whoâs suffering from things that are overwhelming or depressing but canât speak openly about it. Just know that situations never stay same.
Here are some tips for coping with depression. These donât need to be in any particular order.
Stay in touch,
Take some time off to rest but don’t withdraw from life,
Keep some form of routine going on,
Socialising can improve your mood,
Keeping in touch with trusted friends and family means you have someone to talk to when you feel low. ??ââď¸??ââď¸Be more active,
Take up some form of exercise. Exercise is a wonderful mood lifter. If you haven’t exercised for a while, start gently by walking for 20 minutes every day,
Face your fears and eat well,
Don’t avoid the things you find difficult. When people feel low or anxious, they sometimes have urge to eat the wrong things,
Some people can lose their confidence in going out, driving or travelling, If this starts to happen, facing up to these situations will help them become easier,
Take some responsibility for your health and sanity,
