Ghanaian Actress/ TV Show Host, Efia Odo Makes A Firm Case For Single Women In New Tweet: ‘Eggs don’t swim to the sperm’
Ghanaian star, Efia Odo has made firm case for women via her social media platform. Sharing her candid opinion on relationships on the popular microblogging platform, Twitter, the actress stresses on why women should never be the one chasing after men.
Using the analogy of the fertilisation process, the beautiful TV show host says that the egg does not swim to the seed but vice versa. She tweets: ”Eggs don’t swim to the sperm, never chase a man sis.”
However, a male follower with the Twitter handle @Plata_O_Plomo99 Sep 19, responded to Odo’s tweet that the egg has to meet the seed somewhere for fusion. He explained that the egg has to leave its original position, noting that a woman also has to show some interest in the man.
”Well according to fertilization process, the sperm and egg def do meet somewhere for fusion tho. Ikr…but I just wanted u tk dah the egg moves from it original destination to meet the sperm…so in other words the girl gotta make an effort for being wanted.
When the sperm swims up to meet the egg for fusion, the READY egg ain’t got no option than to meet up for fertilization…same scenario happens in life with male and female,” he tweeted.
But Odo insists that a man still has to do the chasing if he wants a woman. She said that a woman does not have to want a man that approaches her, stating that she has the right to choose from the many options before her.
The screen goddess further said that a woman will not reject a man’s proposal if she thinks that he deserves her.
”You wouldn’t have wanted to make a move if you already didn’t want her. We dey our corner, it’s you people that usually make the move. So from the beginning she’s already being wanted cuz that’s nature.
We are willing if we want you. Love no be by force, we too we get options. A woman chooses the man she wants. You can come but maybe she doesn’t feel the vibe with you.”
Another follower with the Twitter handle, @chayxe, however, stated that women do not have all the time by their sides as their eggs expire quickly but Odo countered him, saying, there is modern technology to help women freeze their eggs.
