Former Beauty Queen, Ibidun Ighodalo Shockingly Dies Aged 40! | Husband & Family React To The Sad Loss
What sad news! Former Beauty queen and mother-of-two, Ibidun Ajayi Ighodalo, has died. She was just 40.
The former Miss Lux reportedly died in her hotel in Port Harcourt, Rivers state yesterday June 15. Famous for her beauty, benevolence, and philanthropy, late Ibidun was particularly interested in helping infertile couples access medical interventions to help them beget their own babies.
Ibidun herself struggled a great deal with infertility, enduring 11 failed IVFs until she eventually embraced the joys of motherhood through adoption. Reports going around says the cheerful mum died of Cardiac Arrest.

She is survived by her husband, Pastor Ituah Ighodalo, the head pastor of Trinity House church, and their two adopted children, Keke and Zenan.
Until her death, she ran the popular events company, Elizabeth R, and had been traveling around the country building COVID-19 Isolation centers. She left Lagos for Port Harcourt on Friday, June 12th for work.
Only last week, Ibidun paid a visit to her father’s grave. Ibidun also helped many couples who were finding it difficult to have children through her foundation.
Ibidun’s husband despite the sad loss showed up a few hours later to officiate a burial during which he confirmed that a few hours earlier at 2 am, he got the news of the death of his wife.

The Ighodalo and Olaleye Ajayi families are deeply saddened to announce the sudden loss of our beloved wife and daughter Mrs. Ibidunni Ituah-Ighodalo who passed away in the early hours of today.
As you will understand, this is a difficult time for our families and we will appreciate some privacy during this time.
All information of burial proceedings will be provided in due course.”
