Laurie Idahosa Shares Wise Words With Men On The Ideal Kind Of Marriage Proposals
Motivational speaker and clergywoman, Pastor Laurie Idahosa has a word or two for men about the essence of a marriage proposal, and she warned also about how public proposals will typically end in ”private disaster”.
Idahosa, who is the Pastor of My Church Unusual, said proposals are meant to be intimate and private. She went on to warn men that any woman who tries to dictate how the man proposes to her is a woman who won’t give the man peace in their marriage.
She wrote:
“A marriage proposal is an intimate, private matter, not a video production made to post on your social media handles.
Guys watch out for the lady who tells you how to propose. She won’t let you rest your entire marriage.
Public proposals oftentimes end in private disaster.”
Responding to another Twitter user who said intending couples need to save the drama of public proposals and focus on their marriage, Idahosa wrote:
That is, IF they even get married. A lot of the overly ambitious proposals end up in broken engagements.
