Borrowing Money To Throw A Big Wedding: Here’s The Insight Actor, Yul Edochie Wants Intending Couples To See
Nollywood actor and film director, Yul Edochie has shared his thoughts on borrowing to throw an elaborate wedding, saying that it is not a smart move.
According to the married dad, a lot of people take loans for different shocking reasons lately. In a thoughtful post he shared on Instagram, the thespian said it’s unwise for a man to borrow a huge sum of money to throw a lavish wedding only to be in debt after wedding.
In his opinion, any lady that exerts pressure on the prospective husband to have a huge wedding despite the fact that their financial standing is in no position to do that and requires borrowing has no love for man.
The 39-year-old son of veteran actor, Pete Edochie then went further to advise intending couples that it is better for one to cut his or her coat according to one’s size.

Here is his message:
“Don’t borrow money to do a big wedding and be in debt afterwards. It’s not a smart move. Cut your coat according to your size. Do the level of wedding you can afford. Then face your hustle. You’re not here to impress anybody.
God might bless you one or two years after then you can decide to spend your millions on your wedding anniversary annually.
If your spouse is pressuring you to borrow money and do a lavish wedding to impress people when he or she knows you don’t have the money then that person doesn’t love you.”
In a previous post, the politician recently advised his fans and followers against feeling entitled to favours or other people’s money.
According to the actor, it’s always very important to use the word ‘Please’ when asking for help from other people.
