UPDATE: Married Man BBNaija’s Maria Was Accused Of Snatching Lied About His Marital Status To Her, Chats Give Insight Into What Really Happened
Celebrity barman, Cubana Chief Priest took to Instagram yesterday to call out Big Brother Naija “Shine Ya Eye” star, Maria Chike for allegedly snatching his sister’s husband, simply identified as Kelvin.
The socialite claimed that the reality show star also threatened his sister after allegedly carrying out the act.
According to him, Maria is currently in Dubai with Kelvin and he swore not to let it slide. He went on to tell wives to “stay woke” because “girls like Maria are on the prowl, snatching husbands.”
However, screenshots of chats between Maria and the alleged married man, Kelvin shared online has given an insight into what really happened.
In one of the chats with Maria which has a time stamp of 12 September, 2019, Kelvin admitted to lying about his marital status. He also revealed that he lied repeatedly to cover it up. He then went on to apologize to the reality show star over the “perfidious act”.
Following the dispute between Kelvin and his wife took a different turn, he revealed that they’ve been separated since January in a chat with his wife’s brother as seen in the screenshots below dated May 28, 2018.
Below is also a court document confirming that the estranged couple identified simply as Kelvin and Maryanne Onyinyechi are going through a divorce process. The petition was filed at a high court in Aba, Abia state.
