Celebrity Mum, Toyin Abraham Makes A Firm Case For Surrogacy, IVF
Nollywood actress and producer, Toyin Abraham-Ajeyemi has said that having a child through surrogacy is not a bad thing contrary to people’s belief.
The entrepreneur and mother of one said this in a one- minute long video which was posted on her official Instagram page recently.
According to Toyin, having a child through surrogacy and In-Vitro Fertilization (IVF) is only a different method of having a child other than the natural way.
The 39-year-old movie star advised intending mothers to consider the new method as things are evolving. In her words:
“Surrogacy and IVF is not a bad thing, trust me. I will be talking a lot more about it in the next few weeks. Gone are those days when the only way to be a mother is the usual way that we know it.
“Thanks to how things are evolving, we’ve got other ways now which includes Surrogacy and IVF.
“Surrogacy and IVF are both good and that’s why I’ll be talking more about this in the next few months to help my fellow women.”
Her post, however stirred divided reactions by fans who gave their opinions in the comment section.
While some fans opined that surrogacy and IVF is the best option for childless couples, some said it is better to wait and give birth the natural way no matter how long it may take.
