Yvonne Jegede Recounts How She Narrowly Escaped Being Robbed On Third Mainland Bridge, Alerts Other Women To Take This Precaution
Actress Yvonne Jegede has recounted how she was almost robbed by traffic robbers on the third mainland bridge last night.
In a post shared on her Instagram page, the mother of one stated that she was driving alone when a guy came from under the bridge and attempted to attack her.
Thankfully, the traffic eased and she was able to move away from the scene. She wrote:
“Last night at about 9pm, one guy almost robbed me on 3rdMB. I was lucky the traffic moved a bit so I moved my car and then he took off.”
The actress then called for sanitization of under the bridge at Oworonshoki, Lagos, stating that that was where the robber jumped out from. Miss Jegede continued:
“Under the bridge at Oworonshoki needs to be sanitized. The guy jumped out from under the bridge. They target people driving alone. Be safe guys.”
She further advised ladies on how to drive along the road to ensure they do not encounter traffic robbers. The actress added,
“If you are driving alone in traffic, don’t drive on the fast lane (the last lane by your left), let your car be in between cars. Ladies especially, if you can, please stay wherever you are till you see daylight. There is hunger in town.”
Jegede is not the only celebrity that has bemoaned Lagos traffic robbery. Music executive, Soso Soberekon and actor Chidi Mokeme had also shared their ordeals.
