Pete Edochie Finally Breaks Silence On His Son, Yul’s Decision To Marry A Second Wife: ‘I Didn’t Feel Good But…’
Pete Edochie has finally broken silence on how he felt when his son, actor Yul Edochie, disclosed he had picked his colleague, Judy Austin, as a second wife.
Speaking in a fresh interview with Vanguard, the veteran Nollywood actor revealed that he didn’t feel good about his son’s decision but that was his choice to make.
According to Pete, he was a Christian who read the bible and if King Solomon could have 700 wives and be dubbed a wise man then it was not in his place to judge his son.
“I didn’t feel good, but like I said, I’m a Christian and I read the Bible. Solomon, with 700 wives and 300 concubines, was branded a man of wisdom.
It’s his choice and for whatever reason he decided to take a second wife, that’s what I can say.”

Yul made headlines in April of this year when he declared Judy to be his second wife. He went further to reveal that she already had a son for him.
May, his first wife, has since voiced her disapproval of his choice, saying that she will not be persuaded to accept anything that does not line up with her beliefs.
Yul, the last child of Pete Edochie, married his first wife when he was 22 years old. The couple has four children together.
