Yul Edochie’s Daughter, Danielle Yanks Off Father’s Name Amid Family Crisis
Danielle, the first child and only daughter of popular Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie, has removed her surname ‘Edochie’ from her Instagram bio amid family crisis.
It’s no news that the Edochie family has been beclouded with tragedy and controversy since the actor welcomed a child with his colleague, actress Judy Austin, and took her as his second wife.
Yul and his second wife, Judy have been in the news for a couple of days now after they were seen in different videos on social media a few weeks after the first son of Yul was buried.
Recently, Yul posted a video of Judy thanking God for the safe delivery of their child, which did not sit well with many.
They tagged the video as ‘insensitive’ because it comes just weeks after the death of his first son with his first wife, May.
Amid the backlash, the actor, who was unbothered by the criticisms, shared a video of himself and Judy singing along to a song ‘Unbreak my heart’ in his car.
Although it has been rumored that May Edochie has been granted a divorce by a court and gotten sole ownership of their mansion and the custody of their children, none of the parties have come out to react to the news.
However, the first daughter of Yul, Danielle got people talking when she yanked off her father’s name ‘Edochie’ from her Instagram bio.
The 18-year-old changed her surname to ‘Dubem’ but left her Instagram handle as ‘danielleyuledochie’.
