Nigerian Media Personality, Moet Abebe Gives Reasons For Remaining Single At 34
Popular Nigerian video jockey and television presenter, Laura Abebe, popularly known as Moet Abebe, has explained why she is yet to get married.
The 34-year-old Bahd and Boujee co-presenter gave her reasons for remaining single during an episode of her podcast which she co-hosts with reality TV star, Tolani Baj.
The podcast – Bahd and Boujee, had Nollyhood actor, Etim Effiong, as a guest. Moet has consistently been in the news recently.
Earlier in June 2023, she shared her experience of enduring an “abusive” relationship with her ex-fiance for approximately two and a half years.
The video jockey in October 2023, stated that she cannot date men who live on the mainland in Lagos.
“I feel like if I call you at 11 pm, you will probably give me some story like it is too late, there are police on the street, I cannot come,”
she said, to back up her reason.
Earlier in 2021, she expressed her unconcern about marriage, describing it as a “fraud”.
In the latest interview, Moet disclosed that the reason why she has remained single is because “most men do not have sense”.
She gave this response when Effiong, who had known her since he was single six years ago asked her why she was still single and on the street.
“I am choosing to be single but even if I wanted to be in a relationship, the options are not so great,”
she told the actor.

She continued:
“You already know my reservations. I am tired of saying this every episode. Your gender needs to do more. My issue with men is that they do not have sense.
“How about men stop dipping their fingers in so many pots? Because you are making me confused. That means I equally have options.”
