Tonto Dikeh Expresses Unapologetic Stance On Her Past
Famous Nigerian actress turned politician, Tonto Dikeh, has expressed an unapologetic stance about her past.
The 39-year-old momma of one, in a post she shared on Instagram, emphasized that she sees what others might view as scandal or gossip as a testament to her strength and resilience.
Hence, she refuses to be defined by the opinions of others and instead chooses to celebrate her journey.
Tonto reflected on her journey, stating that she harbours no shame or regret regarding her past experiences, no matter how difficult or trying they may have been.
She also embraced her history, choosing to see it as a testament to her growth and strength, rather than something to be ashamed of.
She boldly invited anyone who wanted to discuss her past to sit down with her, sharing how God transformed her brokenness into something beautiful.
She wrote;
“I’m not embarrassed about anything I went through. What may be TEA for you, is a Testimony for me. If you want to talk about what broke me, invite me to the table so I can tell you how God used the pieces.”
Recall that Tonto was in the public eye in September 2021 over her messy breakup with lover, Prince Kpokpogri, the politician and anti-corruption activist.

The pair accused each other of cheating, with a series of leaked audios surfacing online to back their claims — barely three months after the actress made their affair public.
Before the politician, the actress was formerly married to Olakunle Churchill. The pair tied the knot in 2015 but the union ended controversially two years later. The union was blessed with a son.
