Kanayo O Kanayo Talks About The Concept Of Marriage And Divorce, Reveals He’s Been Separated From His Wife For Over 4 Years
Nigerian actor and lawyer, Kanayo O Kanayo has opened up in a recent interview on his experiences with marriage.
The veteran actor appeared as a guest on Nedu’s podcast, The Honest Bunch, to address the difficulties of marriage.
While on the show, he had some stirring revelations about his crashed marriage which comes as a shock to many of his fans.
The movie star revealed on the show that he had been separated from his wife for nearly four years.
During the program, KOK thought about the concept of marriage and divorce and what an average Igbo man thinks of the two concepts.
According to him, he never knew anything about divorce and that he got knowledge about it after relocating to Lagos state.
He stated that he believes a certain mentality exists among young couples in the city that damages marital stability.

Kanayo claims that the majority of Igbo males are opposed to divorce. He claimed that rather than leaving a problematic marriage, many Igbo men would prefer to stay and endure it.
“I never knew anything about divorce until we came to Lagos. The Igbo man prefers to die in the marriage than divorcing,”
he partly said.
