Lady Reveals Statement Her Father Made To Her When She Was Just 18 That Destroyed Her Self-worth
A woman has revealed that she is estranged from her biological father because of his attitude towards her.
She explained that he allegedly abused her when she was 13 and when she confronted him about it, he gaslighted her.
Sadly, it didn’t just end there. The lady said when she turned 18, her father walked behind her and whispered in her ear, “I almost forgot you were my daughter”.
She said those words left her doubting her worth for years. Now, over 20 years later, she said she’s finally learning her value and ‘healing out loud’.

There’s been so much trauma. I confronted him about abusing me when I was 13 and he started with the gaslighting so I finally went no contact. I didn’t even address this, at that time.
He wrote me an email with “apologetic not sorry” in the subject line where he claims I have the wrong person and he never did anything to me. I have never read it. But on my healing journey, I’ve written a poem and made a beautiful painting. Want me to post it?”
