In a recent interview with media person, Chude Jideonwo, Lateef revealed that his wife, popularly known as Mo Bimpe thought he was joking when he proposed marriage to her over the phone.

According to Lateef, Mo Bimpe’s initial hesitation was due to his Islamic faith, as she feared her father would not approve. He said:

“I called her and told her I wanted to ask her something, then I told her I wanted to marry her. She was just joking, like, ‘What is doing this one? Get out! I can’t marry a Muslim; are you okay? My daddy won’t even hear that.”
