‘I And Annie Have Been Separated For A While Now’ – Tuface Idibia Announces As He Sets To Share His Story
Nigerian legendary singer Innocent Idibia, better known as Tuface, has announced his divorce from his wife of 12 years, Annie Idibia.
Taking to his official Instagram page, he revealed that he and Annie had been separated for a while and had filed for divorce. The singer promised to grant a press release soon to tell his story.
Explaining why, Tuface, who shares two kids with Annie, said it isn’t because it is anyone’s right to know about his personal life, but because he loves his people and needs them to know his innocence of offence.
He admonished his fans to stay blessed as he expressed love for them.

The divorce announcement comes as a shock as just a few days back, Annie had shared clips of her Detty December with 2baba as she gushed over their union.
The mother of two told her haters and critics, who she referred to as devil and witches to give it up as it has been 25 years of friendship and 13 years of marriage with her husband.
Recall that in 2021, the Idibia’s marriage almost hit the rock as Annie publicly called out her husband, accusing him of having an affair with his second baby mama, Pero Adeniyi.
However, the couple was able to settle their differences and in 2023, 2baba denounced his role model title after tendering a public apology to her.
Annie poured out her heart to 2baba, stating that her husband isn’t just her man; he is her home, rest, heart, and safe place. She added that 2baba is hers and she is his.
Reflecting on the drama, Annie stated that she doesn’t know how she survived that scandal, but credited it to Grace.
