Comedian Bovi Speaks On Why He Relocated His Kids To The UK

Nigerian stand-up comedian, Bovi Ugbomma, has revealed why he made his kids relocate from Nigeria to the United Kingdom (UK).
The comic actor, who was a guest on the recent episode of the ‘Uncolored’ podcast disclosed that he moved his kids to the UK due to the educational system in Nigeria.
Bovi explained that the Nigerian educational system has normalized bullying by empowering senior students to discipline their juniors.
According to him, his children have been in the UK for more than two years now and in a boarding school, adding that he also went to a boarding school here in Nigeria and it made him street wise.

In his words:
“My kids don’t live in the country [Nigeria] anymore. They have been in the UK for two years now. It started by accident, my first son has been there since 2021 in a boarding house.
“I went to boarding school in Nigeria and it made me street-smart. So I decided that my kid needs to go to boarding but not in Nigeria because the educational system has accepted bullying by empowering students to bully their fellow students in the name of senior students disciplining their juniors.”
