‘Women Seen Publicly Without Bra Or Pants To Be Nabbed In Anambra’ – Governor Soludo’s Security Outfit Announces

A security outfit in Anambra state has announced that they will begin arresting women seen publicly without bra or panties.

In a video shared by one of the residents in Anambra, an announce was seen sharing the piece of information in megaphone advising young women to dress well to avoid problems.

In the footage, an official of the security outfit, speaking in Igbo, claimed the directive was issued by the state governor, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo.

The announcer added that any woman seen publicly wearing just panties will also be arrested.

However, Anambra authorities have yet to release an official statement regarding the announcement.

The video has triggered reactions from social media users…

A former Senator from Kaduna State, Shehu Sani, on Monday wondered how the security will verify compliance by ladies and if the law is also applicable to men.

He made his position known in a message posted on his X handle. He wrote,

“Anambra’s Bra and Pant law; I don’t know if the Pant law is applicable to Men….and how can the security outfit verify ladies compliance??”
