Basketmouth’s Estranged Wife, Elsie Reaches Out To Women Going Through A Divorce With Empowering Message
Elsie Okpocha, the ex-wife of Nigerian comedian Bright Okpocha, better known as Basketmouth, has given advice to women who are going through divorce or breakup.
In an Instagram video, the mother of two assured such women that they will smile again and be happy.
According to Elsie, they feel like their world has ended, that the other women is better than them, and that they didn’t fight her enough in their marriages.
Elsie assured them they did their best and that the other women could never be better than them because they were unique. She also assured them their kids would be fine despite coming from a broken home.
She then assured them again that they would overcome whatever they were going through and that something good would happen.
“In celebration of Women’s International Month, I want to say this to every woman out there going through a heartbreak, failed relationship, or marriage: You will smile again and be happy. I promise you.
I don’t know how long it will take, but something good will happen. You are going to look back and say, “I can’t believe I went through this.” I promise you.
Now, it feels like your world has ended, and you aren’t getting yourself. Yes, I know that feeling.
You feel like the other one is better than you, and you didn’t fight her enough in your marriage. Trust me, you did your best. The other woman was never better than you and can never be better because you are unique in your own way.
You may feel your children will come from a broken home, but trust me, your children will be fine.
So, this is me saying to you, “You will be fine. Go out and thrive.”
