‘I Don’t Have The Desire For Marriage Anymore’ –Media Personality, Chude Jideonwo Opens Up
Media personality, Chude Jideonwo has opened up about marriage and why he has lost desire for the institution.
Chude, in a recent podcast appearance, disclosed how he used to be desperate to get married when he was in his 20s.
According to him, he realized that he was only craving marriage because he was feeling lonely. He disclosed that he thought getting a wife in his life was going to cure his loneliness.
In his words:
“So when I was in my 20s, I was desperate to get married. I was very lonely for some reason. I was succeeding, but I didn’t feel so complete. Now I know it was loneliness. I just felt a wife was going to cure me of loneliness.”
He however disclosed that he doesn’t have the desire anymore to get married. He disclosed how a lot of people are pressuring him to get married and also have children because he is financially stable.

The media entrepreneur also shares life-changing decision at 24. Chude revealed that upon making a significant amount of money, he opted against purchasing flashy vehicles.
He shared that he used a car for ten years, until it was worn out, then purchased a new vehicle in 2024. He shared:
“I had the same car for ten years until the car was crying. You have to store wealth so that in time of trouble, you don’t land on the floor.”
Furthermore , he cautioned against making financial decisions solely to impress social media followers, highlighting potential future consequences.
“Don’t make a decision based on your followers that will not be relevant in your life in five years. Bear it for five years, they will not laugh at you in five years”,
he stated.
