‘Busola Dakolo is not telling Nigerians the truth’ – Veteran Actress, Steph-Nora Okere
Former Nollywood actress, Steph-Nora Okere has become the first female celebrity to find the rape allegation leveled against embattled COZA pastor, Biodun Fatoyinbo, by Timi Dakolo’s wife, Busola Dakolo, as shady.
While reacting to the rape allegations leveled against the founder and senior pastor of the Commonwealth Of Zion Assembly, the veteran revealed that she walked away from a major film shoot, exited Nollywood because of a near rape incident and wondered how a woman who claimed to have been raped multiple times as a teen was still associating with the alleged perpetrator for many years after the incident.
In a post she shared on social media this morning, Steph-Nora Okere wrote:
“RAPE SAGA ISH. I just want to know how it is possible for a man to rape a woman three different times in a house full of people and not just that, the rape victim continues worshiping in the church, gets wedded by the pastor, gets wedding car gift from the pastor and still stays on till now.
She also spoke on how she exited Nollywood because of a near rape incident.
”Am so miffed. I walked away from a major film shoot, exited Nollywood because of a near rape incident. So am wondering, what is the catch in all these?”
She concluded by stating that she feels the rape allegation against the COZA pastor is being used by Busola Dakolo as a cover up for something.
“The said victim should make it good by also opening up to her husband on any other gory incident in her past, not just this. Me rather think someone is trying to cover up something with this ish.
Am sitting and waiting for the end of it.”
The clergyman is not new to controversies and has been embroiled in a series of sexual assault-related cases, that of Ese Walter being the most prominent.
In an explosive interview with YNaija, Busola, recounted how pastor Fatoyinbo, allegedly raped her in her mother’s house while she was still in secondary school. A distraught Busola also recounted how the clergyman allegedly tried having sex with her inside his matrimonial home when she came in to help his wife, Modele, when she had their first child (read the story Here).
After Busola’s the interview went viral, Wale Aladejana, a loyal member of COZA had called out the Dakolos, while defending his pastor.
Wale, CEO of Sapphire Group, said Timi and Busola have a lot of skeletons and they are busy throwing stones. He went further to say Busola was a choir member and Timi was a choir leader in COZA when she got pregnant with her first baby but Timi denied that they weren’t having an affair and then she got pregnant the second time and that was when the church (COZA) forced them to get married.
