Actor, Gideon Okeke Celebrates Mom’s Birthday By Reminiscing On The Sacrifices She Made After His Dad’s Business Collapsed
In a not lengthy but worth reading post, Nigerian actor Gideon Okeke got quite emotional as he celebrated his ‘Super hero’ mother who turns a year older today, August 24.
Looking back, the married actor recounted how his super mother supported their family after his father’s business went down. Gideon disclosed that his father’s bakery business rolled to a grinding stop after the Nigerian government clamped down on Bromate Flour.
Noting that he wasn’t sure of his secondary school education even though he is the only child of his parents, the father of one said his mother sold puff-puff, chin-chin, ran a beer parlour and also scaled all her jewelries to put him through school.
