”No prospects for reconciliation”- Celebrity Mum, Cardi B Officially Files For Divorce From Offset

Cardi B is reportedly filing for divorce from her husband, Offset. The rapper filed court docs in Georgia indicating she’s seeking a dissolution of marriage. Cardi is listed as the plaintiff and Offset is listed as the defendant. She filed the paperwork on Tuesday.

There’s also this … according to the court docs, obtained by TMZ, Cardi is seeking primary physical custody as well as legal custody of their 2-year-old daughter, Kulture. She also wants Offset to pay child support. No word on spousal support for now according to the publication.

She also makes clear in her docs that they’re currently separated, and “there are no prospects for a reconciliation.” Cardi is also adamant in the docs she wants Offset to be ordered to pay her legal expenses.

Cardi and Offset were secretly wed in 2017 and shared their hitched status the year after. The Fulton County superior court confirmed that a divorce petition has been filed in Superior Court, Fulton County, Georgia by Belcalis Almanzar v. Kiari Cephus.

This comes days after Cardi posted a cryptic quote to her Instagram story that reads:

“Her heart finally told her to stop wasting her time… it’s time.“

Cardi B and Offset’s relationship has been plagued with crises. After their secret 2017 wedding, the marriage was plagued with numerous cheating allegations. They later welcomed daughter Kulture but it seemed that Offset would always need some straightening up.

Cardi previously announced her decision to divorce her husband, but Offset made a public apology at one of her biggest festival performances at Rolling Loud.

The Migos rapper took over the stage with a big presentation of flowers and cake that read,

“Take me back, Cardi.”

The pair later reconciled but they are battling more marital issues and Cardi B has reportedly had enough.
