Pastor Enoch Adeboye Reveals How He Was Able To Overcome His Grief After The Death Of His 42-Year-Old Son, Dare
The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has revealed how he was able to overcome his grief over the death of his son.
Dare Adeboye died in May 2021 in Eket, Akwa Ibom State, where he was based with his family. The 42-year-old was the Assistant Pastor in charge of Region (Youth) 35 before his death. He was father to three daughters.
Speaking on Friday, April 1, during the church’s April 2022 Holy Ghost Service, the revered man of God recalled a message he got from a spiritual daughter while grieving that turned the tide.
Pastor Adeboye, while speaking on the theme of “Signs and Wonders”, said children are proof that God is a Miracle Worker, a Covenant-Keeper, a Burden-Bearer and the Defence of the Defenceless.

He said:
“When I lost my son last year, then I was deeply in sorrow, I got a text from one of my daughters that suddenly turned the tide.
What she wrote was simply this: “Daddy, let God carry you.”
He added that God is a Carrier, who carries burden, sorrow and problems provided one has the disposition of a child.
