‘Late IVD’s Wife, Bimbo Was A Chronic Drug Addict’ – Kemi Olunloyo On Her Findings
Controversial journalist, Kemi Olunloyo has alleged that Bimbo Ogbonna, the late wife of embattled popular car dealer, IVD was a heroin user.
According to Olunloyo, who is the owner of defunct online blog platform, HNN Africa, Bimbo suffered from drug induced psychosis.
In a lengthy post, also alleged that Bimbo’s family knew about her drug use but mostly covered her marital problems with domestic violence.
This comes days after Bimbo died after suffering 100 percent third degree burn after setting their Lagos home on fire.

“Abimbola’s autopsy MAY likely say she died of third degree burns to her body secondary to drug induced psychosis. Same with Osinachi and Oromoni who I was also CORRECT about.
Many ugly things are happening in someone’s life X and Y killed them. My friend Whitney Houston died of cardiac disease secondary to years of DRUG USE which had scarred her heart walls.
I have started talking to hospital and police sources but I’m not investigating this case. No time and money for that right now. My assignments are lengthy and piling up.
Abimbola was a HEROIN user. Her family KNEW it and mostly covered her marital problems with #domesticviolence. She was psychotic destroying many of their own property and household items. Her friends who asked her to keep going back also knew she was on drugs.

Abimbola also failed them as a mother. Drug induced psychosis can let you do things unbelievable like pouring kerosene on a curtain, setting it on fire then pouring more on yourself. WHAT HAPPENS? You catch fire‼️😑☠️🔥🧯

Bimbo passed on to glory on the 15th day of October 2022. Her death was announced by her sister, Mama Jazz on Instagram.
It was learnt that Bimbo narrowly escaped death after burning their home in Lagos by herself. According to reports, Bimbo was in pains at a hospital after she was almost burnt to death during a brawl with her husband.
It was gathered that the incident happened at their residence in Megamound estate, Lekki, Lagos on Wednesday, October 12.
Sources, said that Bimbo had confronted her husband over the constant beatings she received from him and a fight ensued.
The source, who called for help, rushed her and IVD to the hospital. Unfortunately, Bimbo was burnt beyond recognition.
The source disclosed that the mum of five was rejected by at least 10 hospitals on Wednesday because of her condition. Luck smiled on her as she was admitted into one with family members rallying round her.
Unfortunately, Bimbo didn’t survive as she was pronounced dead three days later.
Following series of controversies that has trailed Bimbo’s death, her brother, Oyindamola Martins who has been vocal since her passing detailed what transpired between his late sister and IVD.

“When he got angry and he was trying to look for the vulcanizer. Before she could lock the whole doors he got the papers back from her and she was mad and she was like tor, since na our only property be this make two of us kukuma leave with nothing then she started to lit the floor. And it was kerosene not even petrol. Her kids were not there.
She was liting up the whole house, then according to them. This was somebody that was madly in love with her husband and this is not the first time that her husband too has threatened himself If she does not come back, I think she probably expected him to say do am or no do am.
Then when she did it she now stopped for a while and she walked round the house, him he was not saying anything he was like if you wan die, d**. Then I think she lit up the curtain and it was burning they were now dragging. She now jacked him like omo…you go give me this paper today, then him pushing her off his body got her into the curtain.”
Oyindamola also noted his late sister got burnt while her husband watched and did nothing. He took to his heels when they secured an hospital that agreed to treat her.
