El-Rufai’s Daughter-In-Law Comes Hard On Parents Who Send Their Children To School With Male Drivers And Workers
The daughter-in-law of former Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, has berated parents who send their children off to school with male drivers and workers.
In a post on her Instagram story on Saturday, April 4, the mother of two, who is married to Bashir El-Rufai, said she finds it disturbing seeing a 3-year-old girl being dropped in the morning and picked up by a male driver after school.
According to Halima Nwakaego, it is very wrong. The mom-of-twins then advised that if parents won’t be available to go with the driver to drop off their kids, they can send them with a nanny.
She wrote:
“You all are still sending your kids to school with male drivers and male workers are picking up your toddlers from schools? I’m not here to judge anyone and I know I haven’t been a mum for that long. But seriously that is just wrong!!!
I don’t care how long you’ve known the driver, At least, send them with a nanny if you really cannot be there.
Whatever your job is or whatever you are doing, kids come first. God then kids. In this day and age, I cannot believe it. We really need to do better as parents. It’s so unsettling seeing a 3 year old girl being picked up by a driver.”
