Another Heartbreaking Story Of Pregnant Nigerian Woman Who Allegedly Lost Her Life In An Abusive Marriage
A pregnant Nigerian woman identified simply as Kosi, has allegedly passed on from domestic violence.
A nurse, Ngozi Divine Chidunem, who disclosed this in a Facebook post on Sunday, February 23 2025, said 8-months pregnant Kosi was allegedly beaten to death by her husband.
According to Ngozi, the deceased had left the marriage in December 2024 after her husband brutalised her in public and she advised her to leave for her life.
Sadly, she went back to him last month, January and in February, after another beating from the husband, she started bleeding and was rushed to the hospital where she was confirmed dead.
Ngozi wrote:
“We lost a sister to domestic violence today with 8month pregnancy. Left December, came back January, died February.”

She continued:
“Just this December I met a woman with about 7-8month pregnant being beaten by her husband not in the room, outside and people gathered.
I just went straight to the lady, we talked and she told me she is ready to leave the marriage but she doesn’t even have transport to travel. I asked her if she has other kids, she said no her first pregnancy is what am seeing, gave her 50k to go back to the east.
January this lady came back. Even started avoiding me. I just got a call this that the husband has unalive her. He beat her on Friday, she started bleeding, the Man took her to hospital, nobody knew she didn’t even made it to hospital. Kosi is gone.”
