Award-winning actress and filmmaker, Stephanie Linus was a headline speaker at the “MENTORSHIP” programme of the 18th Lagos Book & Arts Festival 2016 on Friday 11th November. The event held at the Freedom Park in Lagos and it saw a good turnout of students from Primary and Secondary Schools across the state.
The gorgeous mother-of-one, who spoke on the topic “My Encounter with the Book” shared the impact of books and reading on her life with children and young adults. She encouraged them to develop and cultivate the habit of reading and reading good books especially at their young ages. While recounting some of her childhood experiences with books, she pleaded with them to imbibe positive values always and be great ambassadors of our nation.
