Celebrity Mum Mercy Johnson Gets Political Appointment in Kogi State

Congratulations are in order for multi-talented celebrity mum, Mercy Johnson-Okojie, who has just joined the elite list of Nollywood actresses with political appointments.

The 32-year-old actress and mother of three has been appointed as the Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to the Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello, on Entertainment, Arts and Culture.

Mercy’s appointment was announced in a statement released by the Secretary to the State Government ( SSG), Folashade Ayoade, yesterday, March 14th, and the appointment takes effect from April 1st, 2017.

The AMVCA winner has joined 53 other Senior Special Assistants. This is her first political appointment.
