Talk about the secret to the narrow waistlines of mothers and daughters like Kate Middleton and her mom, Jennifer and Gisele Lopez, among others. Designed by French man, Pierre Dukan he claims it’s the reason why the French can eat pretty much whatever they like and still stay slim!! Here’s how it works. It comes in 4 phases;
Phase 1- The Attack Phase
Here, you can eat any of: lean meat, fish, other sea foods, poultry, and non fat dairy foods, in whatever portions that will satisfy you. Do this until you reach your target weight. The secret is that proteins keep you satiated for longer periods of time.
Phase 2- The Cruise Phase
Start to alternate between the proteins, and greens, or cooked veggies( cooked any how, fried, poached, boiled, roast, you name it), eating as much of it as you can. Do this for 2 to 7 days, depending on how much weight you want to lose. 7 days if you need to lose so much, drastically too.
Phase 3- The Consolation Phase
Here, you add 2 slices of bread and 1 portion of fruit and cheese(wonder if there’s an alternative to the cheese) to your daily diet, 2 servings of carbs and 2 celebration (whatever you like to eat) meals a week. Now for every pound lost, you stick to this phase for 5 days. For instance, if you’ve lost 2pounds, you stick to this phase for 10days, and so on.
Phase 4- Permanent Stabilization Phase
You can start eating a normal varied, not rigid, pretty much whatever you like, but healthy still, EXCEPT for 1 day in the week when you return to the Attack phase. After that 1 day, you continue with your normal variety, and keep at it, maintaining your 1 day of Attack phase each week.
