Locked Up! Teresa Giudice Serves 15-Month Sentence

Teresa Giudice has officially begun her prison sentence.

The Real Housewives Of New Jersey star entered the Federal Correctional Institution in Danbury, Connecticut at about 3 a.m. Monday, her lawyer told WNBC in New York. (The prison’s web site had not yet listed Giudice in custody, as she was presumably going through the check-in process.)

Giudice was sentenced to 15 months behind bars for fraud and tax evasion. Her husband Joe, who was sentenced to 41 months will begin his sentence when she is done serving time.

Teresa’s first days in prison will likely include a thorough strip search and a psychological assessment. “She may be tested by other inmates because of her notoriety, more in the way of snide remarks than threats,” says a source.
