Chris Brown Says He Wants Baby Mama Close So He Can Be A Good Dad

According to TMZ, Chris Brown has asked his 31-year-old baby mama, Nia Guzman, to move to L.A. so he can be close to their 9-month-old daughter, Royalty.

Chris has spent time with the baby since finding out he’s the father, but it’s difficult because Royalty is 1372 air miles away from Chris’ L.A. home.

Sources connected with Chris tell TMZ he’s asked Nia to move to L.A. with their daughter because he’d like to see her everyday, and he’ll foot the housing bill. He’s not romantically involved with Nia, but genuinely wants a meaningful relationship with his daughter.

Chris is in “negotiations” with Nia over support. He’s paying her more than he’s required to under the law, but he got pissed off when she started talking about their relationship and vowed to go to court where a judge would reduce the child support he’s informally paying.

TMZ sources say Chris has told Nia he won’t pull the trigger on a child support court case if she moves to L.A. and she’ll continue getting the premium amount, in addition to a place to live.

Nia hasn’t decided, but it sounds like a good deal.
